On Wednesday 19th December some of our students went into the Amazon Ward at Peterborough City Hospital to hand out bags which were full of gifts for children and their parents/guardians.
The students were a credit and were complemented on their attitude, generosity and manners by the hospital staff.

In the classroom
This term has seen our first year students complete Physiology in Sports, Exercise, Health and Lifestyle and Fitness Training and Programming in which results have ranged from distinction to pass level.
Our second years have completed Psychology in Sport, Sports Coaching and Current Issues in Sport where all students have achieved at least a pass or merit level.
We have had UCFB into talk to the students about university pathways, which include Wembley and Etihad campus. We also had Challenger Sports in to discuss coaching and player pathways overseas.
Both were valuable presentations for all of our students with a number of them registering their interests in preparation to move onto the next chapter of their lives.
We have already hosted two open events, which have been of great success. We are currently offering provisional positions on our course with interviews to follows to prospective students.
Our next open event will be during February half term on Tuesday 19th February from 1.00pm till 3.00pm at Netherton Utd Football Club, The Grange, PE3 9ES.

Academy Director, Glenn Vaughan said “This term has been a very positive term for all staff and students on and off the pitch. We have progressed well in the classroom with the students showing a good level of commitment to achieve their targeted grade whilst on the pitch we have become technically better but results haven’t quite fell our way but that is football. We will go again in January and hope to climb higher up the table.”
